Cheap flights to Busuanga
Busuanga is an island in the northern part of Palawan Province in the Philippines. It is a part of the Calamian archipelago. Busuanga is a perfect island paradise holiday destination due to its amazing beaches, gentle landscapes, enthralling wreck-diving adventures, and picturesque hikes. The whole island has a peaceful, easy-going feel to it, making it one of the sought-after destinations in the region.
The main attraction of Busuanga, other than its natural beauty, is wreck-diving. Experienced and inexperienced divers will have a great time diving around World War II-era Japanese warships that sank in the region. The island and its neighbours are also well known for its sports fishing, especially for the giant barracudas that are said to roam its waters. If you are feeling adventurous, why not do some island hopping, as there are a number of islands each with their own unique attractions and charm in the area.
Busuanga offers a lot of great hikes, but nothing comes close to the experience of Mt. Tapyas, which is best when taken in the early morning or late afternoon, when the weather is cooler. If you more into water-based activities, but are not confident enough to go on a wreck dive, try snorkeling at Siete Pecados, where you will be amidst some attractive corals and shoals of colourful sealife.
Among the other activities in which you can partake in Busuanga are horseback riding, mountain bike tours, and jungle treks, which would be harder than the aforementioned hikes. There is plenty to eat and drink in Busuanga, and plenty of options when it comes to accommodation, so all you have to worry about is having a great time.
